Since 1986, Precept Financial Services is a company that has grown since its humble beginnings when David Shaw and Norm Knell partnered to create Shaw Nell Financial Group (SKFG). Later in 1995, Punch Flemmer joined the SKFG team.

In early 2010, Shaw and Flemmer left the company to form Precept Financial Services. Their objective when starting this company was to provide the highest quality service and financial advice. Since that time, Precept has grown to 19 advisors with their main office in Osborne Park. 11 of them found in office locations throughout the Perth Metropolitan area. Some are even located as far as Esperance and Kalgoorlie Boulder.
