Hope Community Services is Western Australia based community services organization dedicated to supporting people to successfully and meaningfully participate in life. Hope’s dedicated staff and volunteers are fully engaged in the local communities in which they are based, and endeavor to labor with individuals, families and communities to deliver services that best face their needs. Guided by our values, we focus on opportunities for community members to reengage and participate positively in the community. The organization is committed to ensuring quality and excellence in service delivery, organizational management and community relations to achieve significant outcomes for people and communities. This covers four core areas: mental health, physical health, labor and observe promote and alcohol and other drug services. Hope is now seeking staff for a variety of positions in the Metro and Midwest. We at Hope recognize that drug and alcohol issues affect not only individuals, but families, carers, spouses, and loved ones. This is why Hope Community Services hosts weekly family urge groups, which give confidential and free urge and advice for those struggling with a loved one’s substance use issues. The holiday season has officially begun and here at Hope our incredible Hope Springs Community Farm residents are hand making bread boards and spice racks from sustainable sourced timber from our own land. The program is designed to confront the individual needs of each young person, including daily activities rehearsed in collaboration with the young person, day program worker and Youth Justice Services. Physical and mental health, basic hygiene, education and life skills are priority areas and are the focus of the day programs in which the young participants are involved. cads is funded by the Mental Health Commission of Western Australia and is the result of a partnership between Hope Community Services and Bela Garnbirringu Health Services Inc. Services include counseling, information, referral and advocacy for individuals and families affected by alcohol or other drugs, consultancy and referral services for health professionals, outreach and education services, and community prevention programs to address alcohol and other drug issues. All services support culturally good practice and all services are provided at no cost. Hope has been providing urge to young people during leaver’s week for a number of years now, offering a sound space and urge for young people in crisis or under the influence. Hope provides counseling and non residential promote services to encourage well individuals, families and communities. Referral and urge services are also available for health professionals responding to drug and alcohol use, the impact on families, and related issues. Pine Tree Tots Nursery offers individual support and counseling to improve parenting and family relationships, as healthy as providing advocacy, referrals and parenting advice’, and parenting transitional plans to help the process of transition into the community. The program has four key objectives: to encourage certain coming thinking about life outcomes among st young men in custody to enable young men to prosper awareness of their skills, abilities and talents to bear information relevant to each participant’s personal and career needs and to encourage job readiness. The program participants have all overcome issues around alcohol and other drugs and have chosen to spend a year living and active on the farm together, to profit excess life and labor skills.
