Balcatta Primary School is a state primary school beginning opened in 1964 and is placed on Main Street in central Balcatta, ten minutes drive to the coast. Balcatta’s name was derived from the Aboriginal words Ba meaning his and Katta meaning hill. We promote the growth of each child to their fullest academic, social, cultural and physical potential and we aspire to thrive self-reliant learners who will have the necessary skills to cope with the furthering of their education and life within the community.

Parent and community members are encouraged to play an energetic role in ensuring students are provided with the best feasible learning opportunities. Kindergarten is a transition from home to school and may be the child’s first step away from home and mother. Please ensure that your child arrives on time and is collected promptly each day. Each kid is required to bring a piece of fruit or vegetable every day. Children are needed to bring their lunches to Kindergarten when attending for the complete day. The cost is 30.00 per student for the year. The bag should be important sufficient to enclose a spare set of clothes and any work, Ag paintings that your child may bring home.
